The Axxiom Approach: How We Measure What Actually Matters

by | Feb 19, 2026 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

In 70 minutes, we can tell you more about your body than your gym has told you in years.

When you go to the doctor, they run labs. They give you an understanding of how your body is working: what it needs, what you need to avoid, what to focus on. When you go to the gym, you lift weights, go through the program the trainer sets up, but you don’t get the data you need to thrive.

That’s the gap. At Axxiom, we’re not chasing a number on a scale or a personal record in the gym. We’re chasing your future self. The version of you that’s capable of doing what you want at any age. That’s who we’re building toward, and data is how we get there.

Why We Measure

Because data matters. Without data, how can you know that what you’re doing is working? It’s a lot more than just hopping on a scale and looking at your Whoop.

Measuring gives us a baseline. And measuring isn’t unique to us. But we measure much more in depth, and that is what sets us apart. We’re not just tracking where you are today. What we track is tracking your future self. That is who we’re chasing in these four walls.

What We Actually Measure

At Axxiom, we’re conscientious of what vitality markers really matter. Not vanity metrics. Not how many calories you burned or how many steps you took. The markers that tell you how well your body is actually functioning at the cellular level.

Cell Health (Phase Angle): This is one of the most important numbers most people have never heard of. Phase angle tells you how healthy and intact your cells are. Higher phase angle means your cells are holding onto what they need and keeping out what they don’t. It’s a direct reflection of how well your body is aging at the deepest level.

ECW Ratio: Your extracellular water ratio tells you how much inflammation is happening in your body. Think of your cells like a dam. Water on the inside is good; that’s where it belongs. When water starts leaking to the outside, that’s inflammation. The lower your ECW ratio, the less inflammation, the better your cells are functioning.

Muscle Mass: Not just how much you have, but where you have it. Symmetry matters. Distribution matters. Muscle is what keeps you independent, mobile, and capable as you age. You can’t manage what you can’t measure.

Grip Strength: One of the simplest and most telling measurements in all of health science. Research shows it’s a stronger predictor of heart disease than blood pressure. It tells you more about your overall body strength than any machine in a gym.

VO2 Max: How well your body captures and uses oxygen. This affects everything: sleep, recovery, energy, mental clarity. The better your body uses oxygen, the better everything works.

Fitness 3.0

Medicine went through this evolution. Medicine 1.0 was the early days: they didn’t even fully understand why things were happening. Medicine 2.0 is reactive: you get sick, they treat you. Medicine 3.0 is proactive: bloodwork, biomarkers, getting ahead of disease before it shows up.

Fitness is going through the same thing. Fitness 1.0 was just moving: go for a run, lift some weights. Fitness 2.0 added structure: programs, classes, heart rate monitors. Fitness 3.0 is where we are. Real data. Real markers. A system that tells you exactly where you stand and exactly what needs to be optimized.

That’s the authority we’re building at Axxiom. Not because we have opinions. Because we have data. And that data points to one thing: your future self. Where are the opportunities? What does your body need right now so that the version of you five, ten, twenty years from now is still doing the things you love?

The Missing Piece: A Real Partner

Here’s what most people experience. You go to a chiropractor and they test your grip strength, but they don’t train you. You go to a trainer and they put you with a group of people whose needs aren’t the same as yours. You go to a doctor and they run bloodwork, but they don’t tell you how to move better. Everyone has a piece. Nobody has the whole thing. And nobody is nurturing the full journey.

That’s what’s different about Axxiom. We’re not doctors; we’re not replacing your physician or your chiropractor. But we are a partner in your vitality. We see your cell health, your inflammation, your muscle, your strength, and we connect all of it into one system. Every member gets scanned. Every member has a baseline. Every member can see exactly where they are and track exactly how they’re improving.

It’s nice to have someone in your corner who actually sees the full picture and is invested in where you’re headed. Someone who’s chasing your future self right alongside you. That’s not a membership. That’s a vitality partnership.
